I’m a Colorado-based digital strategist and content consultant with more than 20 years of experience in elevating and optimizing content for media companies, nonprofits, and other businesses. I specialize in developing and executing end-to-end content strategies that drive traffic, improve search performance, engage audiences, and convert users. I also manage complex digital projects — including website redesigns, content audits, and restructures — and provide editorial planning, writing and editing services. 

As a longtime journalist and editor, I bring integrity and precision to every project. I’m thorough and analytical in shaping digital strategies, truthful and straightforward in my writing, and kind but direct in my editing. I’m highly organized, deadline-oriented, and yes, maybe a little bit of a perfectionist. While I partner with all types of businesses, my passion is supporting nonprofits and mission-driven companies in achieving their goals.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Publishing from New York University, with a focus in digital and print media (think of it as an MBA focused on the publishing industry), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University, with a concentration in news-editorial and TV broadcasting. I’m a 2016 graduate from the Leadership Academy for Women in Digital Media, hosted by the Online News Association and the Poynter Institute, and a 2020 FOLIO Top Women in Media nominee in the Change-Maker category.

In my free time, you’ll likely find me in mom mode. I have two busy kids, as well as two mountain dogs and two fancy rescue cats. I also love to work out, hike, travel, spend time with family and friends, volunteer, and daydream about my next DIY house project (for better or worse).
